Just popped in on a whim after some govt business brought us to town. Could’ve gone anywhere but we hit the bullseye with our random shot. Eddie took care of us with a genuine warmth and great humor. We loved this guy! And the other staff were just as cool. Excellent steak sandwich—the beef so perfectly tender, along with a wonderful homemade chimichurri. Excellent draft beer selection on a hot day capped off a perfect lunch. Wish we didn’t live 700 miles away but if you live nearby or pass through STOP IN!! And say hi to Eddie.

My friends and I used to be regulars here, so we were excited to come back a few weeks ago on a Friday evening around 6–7pm. The restaurant wasn’t busy, but our server never introduced himself. We were disappointed to see some of our staple favorites off the menu (like the shrimp taquitos and vanilla soufflé), and even more let down when our food took a long time to arrive. When it finally did, my fries were cold, and our server never checked in on us again after dropping off the plates.Sadly, as much as we’ve loved this place in the past, this experience makes it unlikely that we’ll return.

Atmosphere is cool, especially in the evenings, menu has several good options, but the ones that stood out the most were the duck fat fries, steak frittes and the steak tomato salad!Service was excellent !

A group of gals got together for an event to decorate pumpkins with succulents that was led by @giftsthatdontsucc. We drank Sangria and had a blast. Went home with a gorgeous decorated pumpkin and a fun memory, too.

Decided to take the ladies out on the town and stopped at my local favorite Santa Ana spot... Chapter One. They had outside and inside seating the place was packed. But for good reason, had bkmb hip hop/RnB music playing to keep the night lively. We option to have our chest day early and we got down and busy with our selection of food and drinks. The staff was friendly, personable and made sure the ladies were taken care off. If you ever check out this place, make sure you try the pizza with steak and the Stimulus Check (drink)... Make you feel how you felt when you got that Stimulus check.

Love the big windows. Nice corner spot. The food was quite scrumptious. Steak Mac n' Cheese was absolutely delicious. The Lobster Burger was also a menagerie of flavors in every bite. A fat juicy burger, probably big enough to feed two people. The Duck Fries are a must! You will not be disappointed. Oh and let's talk about their take on the Mexican dessert, the Sopapilla. Ermagurd it was to die for! Such a delicacy of a dessert. They have a nice sized bar, plenty of seating, a few big TVs with sports and dim lighting throughout the restaurant. Highly recommend a visit.
